Backwards collects nothing.
Backwards collects no data, needs no internet connection, and deletes your voice recordings when the game ends.
1. Data collected
None. Backwards collects no personal information, creates no user accounts, contains no analytics, shows no advertisements, uses no third-party tracking libraries, and includes no in-app purchases or payment processing.
2. Microphone use
The microphone is used only to record your voice during play, so the audio can be reversed and played back to the other players. All recording and processing happen on your device. Clips are kept in memory and in temporary files inside the app's private storage, which other apps cannot read. Recordings are never uploaded or sent across any network, and they are deleted when the game ends, when you return to the lobby, or the next time the app starts.
3. Internet connection
Backwards does not request or use an internet connection. The app works completely offline, including in airplane mode. No data is ever sent from your phone to any server or third party.
4. Children's privacy
The app is intended for general audiences aged 13 and up. Because the app does not collect, store or transmit data from any user, it collects no personal information from children or anyone else.
5. Changes and contact
